My brother wants to get into reading, but English is not his first language. I can't recommend a book for him because the books I read are too complicated.

He wants a fantasy that is really easy to read, and he doesn't mind a bit of romance. He also told me that he doesn't want to read Harry Potter, The hunger games or Percy Jackson.
It’s good but I think he would want something more complicated. Tbh he would probably think I’m laughing at him if I give him a Goosebumps book lmao
Percy Jackson perhaps? I think it would be fun, especially because the story is being told by a boy the same age :)
The Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson series and its other connected stories basted on Egypt mythology and Norse mythology are THE books for youngsters. I also want to mention the Fablehaven series.
