I am so sorry Fiona, this week work has been very very bad (getting only 3-4 hours sleep a day so was not able to start yet). Hoping to start this weekend :)

No worries at all! I actually only got to chapter 4 myself so far, my week has been pretty hectic as well!

I'm currently in the middle of chapter 5.

(view spoiler)[We're off to a pretty slow start. So far, I'm liking the characters and since it's an MZ book, I can already see myself loving it as much as I loved her other books.
Story wise though, nothing really happened yet. That's fine, though I'm already excited for the story to pick up pace. (hide spoiler)]

Just got to chapter 3. (view spoiler)[ I love how MZ gets into different types of sports and spins a swoon-worthy love story around it. Promising start again! (hide spoiler)]

I absolutely agree with you. I can already tell it will be a 5 star read again.

I am so busy at the moment that I'm only in chapter 10 now.

(view spoiler)[There was a moment in like chapter 6/7/8 where a lot of times the coach was referred to as "the other woman" and that kinda irked me a lot.
The story is going great though. The pair has become "friends" and I am so excited to see how they will slowly fall for each other. (hide spoiler)]

Unfortunately I didn't have the time to check in more times in between so here a few scenes that I loved:
The whole naked photo shoot scene was great. The way he made her more comfortable with the situation was awesome. And well, it was really fun to have this sort of scene in the book because, like, they were naked! haha
Then another scene I loved was when they woke up together in his bed after drinking with Mrs. Lukov and they were (again) in not so many clothes. I just found it pretty funny and I got really excited about how their relationship changed.
Of course I also loved how he told her that he loves her. That was just so sweet.

I honestly think that this book is my favorite out of all the ones I read so far. I just loved how they went from enemies to teammates to friends to best friends to lovers lol

I finished chapter 6, same here, pretty busy this month, finally getting into the books.

I agree the start is slow but that's typical MZ. I see you rated it 5 starts so it's going to be good. So far, I love her relationship with her mom and her family. I also like how MZ normalises women being confident in their own bodies, however, they are. There has not a lot of character development on Lukov yet but I am really excited to see how the nude photoshoot would go.

I finished chapter 10 and read the photo shoot scene!

(view spoiler)[ I love the way body image has been talked about in this book. There is a full monologue where Jas's mother scolds her kids for saying Jas should not do the photoshoot. I love her family and their crazy dynamic.

The photoshoot was such a good scene. The way Ivan reassured her was so sweet. The scene felt so intimate and his reaction was definitely *ahem* *ahem*. He is definitely attracted to her and she is clearly denying her feelings for him.

Can't wait for more cute scenes!

(view spoiler)[ I agree with you that the scene where they wake up next to each other after getting drunk was quite lovable. My heart skipped a beat when he mouthed "I love you" to her before the competition started.

There was also really really good banter in this book, right till the very end, which showed how they both were naturally in this relationship.

Yes, fun cover, let's do it! When do you want to start? I am flexible but I am travelling the last 2 weeks of Aug so would end up reading at a slower rate.

I'll be on vacation from 30th August too so how about we'll just do it before you start traveling?
