For Maggie to take Jordan into custody when she had just been assaulted by JD -- this told me that there was corruption, at a minimum. I think at that time I suspected JD of the murder.I didn't trust anyone.
I suspected J.D., I didn't like or trust Maggie at all, and the verdict was out on Randy, but I didn't like that he let his brother get away with hitting Jordan. At first, I thought Maggie was just getting Jordan out of the situation, but she turned out to be a real nasty piece of work.
I agree with you. I thought Maggie was worse than JD. I expected Maggie and JD to be involved together.
I didn't trust either Randy or J.D. It was suspicious to me that Randy came driving up just as she had found the body and was making phone calls. It felt like a set up. Of course, when J.D. hit her and smashed her phone, that was suspicious too.At first I was relieved that the police chief was a woman. I thought she would stand up against the bullies. Instead, she was worse than either of them. I didn't trust her as soon as she said she wasn't arresting J.D. for hitting Jordan when it was obvious that he had. Plus, there was a witness.
