Excited to start this today!

Okay, I started today, did not expect to make it so far in one sitting but it really hooked me! I'm at 68% now.

I really like the anti-heroine. I love FMCs who are only out for themselves and totally unashamed of that.

As for the romance (view spoiler)[what's she building with the Shadow King is cute. Though it's kind of alarming that at almost 70% she still has every intention of murdering him as soon as he marries her haha (hide spoiler)]

Okay, all done. It was kind of a weird book, honestly. (view spoiler)[I get that both characters in the romance were villains, but they were also just rich tyrants? That part was weird. I prefer my villains to be more like vigilantes for justice, not colonizing oppressors. (hide spoiler)]

So while I had tons of fun reading this book, it was difficult to actually root for the leads to win.
