Buddy Reads discussion

Please read this before starting a buddy read!!

To request a buddy read, you can first put a request in at one of the many buddy read request sections. There is one for each genre (please message me if I missed one!).
If you have a specific book in mind, you can put in a request under the buddy reads request section that matches the genre of the book you have in mind. (If you have multiple book options for a buddy read that are all the same genre, you may list them there too if you’d like.)

When you request a buddy read, make sure to include the full title of the book(s) and the author(s). Also, be sure to put down when you’re available for the buddy read: for example, immediately/now, in a month, 2 weeks, or if you can be flexible- so, whatever works for the person you’re buddy reading with.

If you have multiple books of different genres, or you are unsure of what genre the book you have in mind is, there is a general section for instances such as this.

To start a buddy read, you may create a topic in the same folder in which you filled out your request, following this format: Your name and your partner’s name- and the title of the book.
Example: Rowan and Emma- Sorcery of Thorns
(Buddy reads may also be done in larger groups of more than 2 people! Just be sure to include all your names!)
You may also PM to discuss the book and choose not to make a topic, that’s perfectly fine.
