Trisha | 1984 comments YAY!! So far, I already had
Dark Corners (Rachel Krall, #2) by Megan Goldin Hello Stranger by Katherine Center both as ARCs

so I ordered (my first box)
Immortal Longings (Flesh and False Gods, #1) by Chloe Gong The Only One Left by Riley Sager

message 3: by Debora (new)

Debora Reis (debareis) | 3 comments I didn't vibe with most of this month's selections, but went for The Connellys of County Down by Tracey Lange . As add-ons I picked up The London Séance Society by Sarah Penner and Lady Tan's Circle of Women by Lisa See . I just finished reading The Lost Apothecary and I really liked it, so I'm excited for LSS!

I agree! it was not a great month for me to pick either. I'm still waiting to see if I want to get anything on my second account. . .

message 5: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (nancyepark) I’m having a different experience than a few of you. I’m excited about my choices.
I don’t use Netgalley, so I haven’t read these books. I also saved a few from previous months. I’m looking forward to “The First Ladies,” because I really liked “The Personal Librarian.”

The First Ladies
The True Love Experiment
Lady Tan’s Circle of Women
Love, Theoretically

Enjoy your July! July, wow!

Nancy (nancyepark) ***Love, Theoretically** Sometimes, this comment box has a mind of its own!

Yay! I'm so glad you are excited for your picks! I think I was just low on things I wanted to grab from the specific month picks - But I did find a few from previous months and finished out my 2nd box!

Elsa Carrion (ecarrion) | 716 comments Nancy,
I also don't use Netgalley. Sounds like we would save a ton of cash on books but there's always the responsibility with reviews that comes with it. That's probably what holds me back from requesting reads from Netgalley.

Little Monsters by Adrienne Brodeur

hoping that Reece's pick is one from this month as well.

message 12: by Kristin (new)

Kristin Bridges | 2 comments Debated on getting https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...Immortal Longings

But settled on The Book of Longings instead. I would get both but I have such a huge TBR and I am trying my best to only getting one a month.

message 13: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (nancyepark) Elsa,

That’s precisely the reason why I don’t use Netgalley, I don’t always feel comfortable writing reviews on the books, and I’m not on a number of social network sites.

I could save money just waiting to read/listen to the books when they come onto Libby, Scribd, or Audible. However, there’s something about having a physical book. Am I right? Lol.

message 14: by Andrea (new)

Andrea | 14 comments I'm a bit disappointed in this month's choices but have 4 add ons I really want. I have never skipped a month but might do so this time (after 3 years of my subscription!). Feeling sad about that. But can't justify a meh book anymore. Did that last month with " She Started It."

message 15: by Ilsen (new)

Ilsen | 50 comments I was this close to skipping but I decided to get Immortal Longings (Flesh and False Gods, #1) by Chloe Gong because I loved These Violent Delights! I also got an add on of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin this month because I am late to the trend.
