Anushia THE REFLECTION OF “WHO MOVE MY CHEESE”

The author of this story is Dr. Spencer Johnson. It is a simple tale which consists of four characters in this story to find their own cheese. Cheese represents for the end of human life such as how they live and how long they live for. There are two mice, Sniff and Scurry and Littlepeople, Hem and Haw. The story about the mice adapting better and faster to change, while the two Littlepeople complex their brain through the process end up with some complicating things. The characteristics of sniff is sniffs out change early before others are aware of it. Secondly the Curry sees what is needed and takes action immediately. While, Hem in a new situation and wish the change was not happening which that denies and resists change as he fears, son it will be led to something worse. Lastly, Haw laughs at himself for not wanting to change, then moves on to explore the maze and comes to taste of new cheese which that learns to adapt when he sees changing leads to something better. The storyline is one day two mices and two Littlepeople found each of their own cheese in Station C. Every morning after that, two mices and two Littlepeople dressed their running clothes and went to the Station C. Sniff and Scurry, continue their routine and race to the maze. When they realized the cheese running low, they moved to find new cheese. In the beginning, Hem and Haw also raced to the Station C but after a while they awoke late and moved slowly to the Station C until did not realized the cheese was low. One day, they found the cheese was no longer. They were afraid to look for new cheese elsewhere and afraid of change. Haw started to get depressed as he made future plan on that cheese. They both did not know what to decide instead stand like a statue while two mices had quickly moves on. Haw eventually able to see what he was doing, laughed at himself, faced his fears and follow the two mices into the maze in search of new cheese. While Hem remained behind, thinking that his cheese will someday be replaced. Later soon, Haw realized that he was enjoying the change of pace and the hunt was not bad. So, he understood and embrace change, he wrote what he learned on the wall in order hoping the signs would be help to find his way. Finally, he met the Sniff and Scurry at the new cheese station.
The moral of the story is soon or later, each of us will be experiences in the changes in our daily life as we all deal in a different way. The one who moves on will have chance to find the source of needed while those are remain behind will be condemn to a failure in their lives.
