Julia | 840 comments Should editions be combined if they only differ in the name on the cover?
e.g: The author has 3 books: one Easter, one Halloween coloring book and one "Unicorn ABC" workbook. They come in dozens editions each, with the only difference I can see being the personalized name on the cover:
-
(Aaliyah Easter Coloring Book for Kids Ages 3-6: Personalized Name Children Coloring Book Complements Perfectly with Easter Basket,
- Aaron Easter Coloring Book for Kids Ages 3-6: Personalized Name Children Coloring Book Complements Perfectly with Easter Basket etc.).

Hi Julia

This is an interesting problem. IMO it needs a staff ruling.

Could you edit your title to add something like Attn: Jaclyn?

annob [on hiatus] (annob) | 4048 comments Hi, coloring books isn't an area I edit much, but if the content is the same, I'd say combine them. Just as we would a re-release of a book that is the same story but has been given a new title on the cover.

I agree with annob, these are fine to combine as the contents are the same.
