Arianna Okay so I’m going to write a story where it’s this couple and the girl goes into an antique shop where they have vintage photos and one she finds is of a couple from 1944 and I I’m going to make it like alternate versions of the modern couple but in that year and idk how to transition into the 1944 versions. Like she’s looking at photo and images that it’s them but I’m not sure how to do that. The story is based of a song, Timeless by Taylor Swift and if you look at the lyrics, it might help you better understand what I mean

Tessa Rudolph | 14 comments OMG Timeless is a MASTERPIECE!! It’s so cool that you’re writing a story based on it!! I would say for the 1944 versions to do a little bit of research about life in the 40s and look at writing from that time for inspiration on the word choices, vibes, etc. I would try to have as much contrast as possible between the two versions of the story. :)

J. Rubino (jrubino) It sounds like an interesting concept. The only caution I would offer is not to use lyrics from the song since they would be protected by copyright.

Tessa Rudolph | 14 comments Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn’t use any of the original lyrics in your writing, make sure it’s original, you know? 💜

Tessa Rudolph | 14 comments Ash, the song Timeless is from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)!! It’s a vault track and the very last song on the album 😊💜💜💜
