So has anybody read Heir to the Jedi yet? It wont be a book of the month being that it is so new and hardcovers are expensive. I figured some of us have read it though.

yeah, I read it. it had some interesting information about Luke's relationship with the force, and some of the workings of the Rebellion. the story itself was okay, but nothing mind-blowing.

I really liked this story. I think it shows Luke at a unique stage and was an interesting view about how his views would have developed before training with Yoda. I was really thrown off by "nut butter" though. Editor should have caught that one. Lol

There were a few problems with that book, like the one Jimmy Mac brings up all the time on RFR - the bit about a song about Vader's missing limbs or cooked limbs or something.
I thought the book was okay, but it's not a great book by any means.
