SciFi and Fantasy Book Club discussion

Hi guys, just finished the first season of the Silo show. Absolutely dont want to wait for the second season. The question is, can I start right from the second book or book 1 and the show's first season are not exactly parallel?

They are not an exact parallel I’d recommend reading the books, which are great! I’ve enjoyed the show very much though, despite. My recollection of details from the book is hazy though.

I am told book two is a prequel, so I would imagine it’s safe to jump right in.

From what I saw/remember of the show/books they did follow along pretty closely with a few smaller differences like Diane said.

The first season of the show ends at about the 30% mark of Wool, the first book in the Silo series.

So, I'd say, you could skip the first 80 pages or so of Wool and get right into where season one left off - though there are some discrepancies like no relics, no judicial, no fertility claims, etc.

I watched the first episode only so far. I have to get back to it. I enjoyed very much
