I was reading this book by Matt Chandler called "To Live is Christ and to Die is Gain" and noticed on page 62 that the author writes that Nathan anointed David to be king of Israel. I believe it was actually Samuel who did that not Nathan? Or maybe I am missing something. It bothers me that such a glaring error is in the book. my copy is published by David C. Cook.
The book itself is suppose to be about the book of Philippians but it gets off track sometimes and Matt mentions other scriptures including some from the gospels

Hi Jeff. It was Samuel who anointed David. I remember when the LORD sent him to the house of Jesse. Yes I agree, it is a glaring error and sadly can be distracting, which is not what one wants. Is the format of your book in paper or Kindle?

I ask the question re format as I wonder if it has been corrected in the Kindle version.

I bought the book at a used book store for .75 cents.

I ended up giving this book a 3 out of 5 stars. I thought it was repetitious and strayed some off the topic which is why it only got 3 stars
I paid .75 cents for it and got what I paid for.

The editor didn't do a good job that's for sure.
