A Wrinkle In Time. I know it's a classic but it doesn't get enough hype! I LOVED IT!!

Marina ♡ The Lockwood and Co book series. I don't see many people reading it and I absolutely LOVED it

Aaiza عائزہ [Hiatus] (aneemonee) Throne of Glass. I get why it's not liked much because the first two books aren't that good but it gets so much better

I just completed reading Gallant by V. E. Schwab. It is such an amazing book! Solid 5 Stars!!! Unfortunately, no one really talks about it. :(

sara | 24 comments i think you should try reading alone by megan e freeman. It's considered a mature kids' novel, but i read it to get out of a reading slump.
the writing is written like poetry, but it's not poetry - if you understand any of that lol

@Amaya Yeah it did but it's still not talked about too much, at least not now. It doesn't have a great rating on gr either.

@Autumn I'm not able to find any information about Uneasy Paradise. Can you tell me what it's about?

message 26: by sara (new)

sara | 24 comments A.J - i just found this review so here you go:
What this book really was it was a good historical fiction, which showed how work most dictatorships revolutions and so on. It was shown in an unusual way
I mean, if you have read, for example, Animal Farm or the Emperor or Lord of the Flies you got mostly a sadness and violence, and after such kind of books, you'll feel depressed. Her Own Special Island shows you the
dark side of people but it is done different. I would say
that it is a great book for teenagers and young adult
who don't know about this side of human (civilisations)
history.

Plot: Linda Ransom returns to the island where she had
een born (a real island, Santa Maria, today known as
Gaua). Here she finds out how much island itself (her
nabitants) has changed and is changing constantly
Additionally, all is going on in the time when the old English Victorian world dies. People lived then between the worlds: strict manners and order and the new, XX century world. (There is a little romance, but really a little.)
