What kind of reviews did you give them?
Just a star rating. Usually a 2 but sometimes a 3. I have been so bad with reviews lately. Too busy to write them.
Often I look at the audio, think I will listen, then nearly gag over the blurb and listen to something else :D

The Freebirds series is the absolute worst out of the ones I've read so far. Just truly awful. I do give my honest reviews no matter what. Especially because some things that bother me bother other people as well and I could literally save a life.

I mostly write my reviews for myself.
Sometimes I'm just NOT in the mood to write a review. That always comes back to bite me in the ass 😂😂

Same. I used to just write something like, "this book was boring" and then I'd wonder what other things didn't I like?? So now I try to write details so I can recall the book a year later and know exactly what was wrong or right about it.

If a book really pisses me off I may rant a bit. But I try not to do that.
I also TRY to give an author a second chance but it depends on how badly written something is.
If it's utter crap then I put them in my author rejected shelf. That way I know not to buy anything they wrote.
To bad I didn't do that years ago. I'd have a lot less books on my shelf 🤣🤣🤣

That's literally what I've been doing to the Lani Lynn Vale books!!!! Though, to be fair, there were three of her books that I really enjoyed and I did give them just as thorough of a review as I do the others. Also, my reasons for disliking them are validated with each review.
Still - I'm a bad, bad person. You should all shun me and throw rocks.
