It is quite an interesting twist that Theo and Parrish get close although I still don't fully trust Parrish and his motives when it comes to her. Meanwhile, Marcos attitude totally changes which I admit I kind of saw coming from the start of the book but he has become introverted and odd which worries Theo although her spidey senses are definetely tingling at that point. Joseph is a changed man as well thanks to "falling in love" or possibly "under the spell" of the seemingly lovely and stunning Olivia although time will tell on that plot point.
things are getting worse as theo is discovering more about the town and what has been going on there. She is a really good character, and I'm a fan only Nonna too, I just wish she'd let them in on what she knows.
Meanwhile Theo's father and Marco have become so mean to her. I was glad that Marco did open up at the end. I hope that they will bond again. I wonder all the time what role the girlfriend of Theo's father will play and if she is also a vampire.
I'm hoping for an happy end. That they can escape from Nightfall. But maybe Theo will also become a vampire and they will live in Nightfall forever.

I really liked Nonna but found it frustrating how she didn't share her knowledge! Perhaps a riff on Lost Boys and what the grandpa is like?
