Well this didn't fully live up to book one. Perhaps my expectation was to high or perhaps it just felt bit more of the same. Now don't get me wrong, I liked how it dived more into each Prince of Hell and their story. I liked you got to see more of the kingdom and realm they rule over and their laws and politically correct standards. What I don't like is how it felt it was just all one big lead up to Kingdom of the Feared. Combine the three books and make 2 big ass books. Exclude the middle man and make the story more interesting.
Yes I finished the whole series in a span of two weeks but my thought is, I am reading them now, I am into it now so just continue. Glad I did because if I had waited for each book, they wouldn't have been 4 stars.
I surely hope that this is not considered YA because it got spicy and it be more a fantasy and starter book to a spicy smutty type of fantasy. I thoroughly enjoyed those spicy parts as you saw Emilia become a women. Not the innocent naive little being she is. I wanted more of that and the author did well in putting the spicy scenes into the story tastefully without losing sight of the story in hand. Better than many books like Fifty Shades, I'd read this series instead of Fifty Shades of Grey. Has more to it.
