I gotta finish one read first and then I will start with this one :)

Finished chapter 8.
(view spoiler)[The chapters definitely are shorter than the ones of her later books. I was really surprised to already see chapter 8 in my Audible player.
So far, I'm really enjoying it. It's fun to explore this topic.
I find it slightly hard to believe that Kat didn't recognize Tristan as a porn star (which of course hasn't been revealed if he is yet but everything hints to it). If she and her friends are so into the adult industry and one of her friends is even working in it then wouldn't she recognize him?
I cringed for the woman screaming at Andrew Wood when everyone else went silent. It was really funny though. (hide spoiler)]

In the middle of chapter 20.
(view spoiler)[I really love how their friendship is going.
It does seem to move a little fast, given that they saw each other like 3 times before he gave her the key to his house but I really like their dynamic.
I really really like him and it's cute how he behaves when he's sick.
As always with MZ's books, I can already tell how awesome they will be as a romantic couple. I'm so excited to see how this will go. (hide spoiler)]

This book was so fun, I enjoyed it soooo much. I giggled so much and it was quite an interesting book to listen to at work iykwim lol
Tristan was my favorite male MC in all of her books I've read so far. I just loved him!

Well, I can see the budding romance and cute chemistry but don't feel the slow burn in this one. I get it that one can get a really amazing connection in one or two meets but it feels too fast. I like how she picked the porn industry and made her friends so involved in it. I also find it funny that she could not recognise Tristan as a pornstar but maybe she didn't get to his porn haha. Tristan is very cute but so far I am finding the magic a bit missing a teeny bit. Let's see how it goes on. Can't wait for more cute moments.

I agree that (view spoiler)[it is way faster than her other books (although still a slow burn in my opinion). I really really liked it though and I don't even know why but I just loved Tristan so much haha

(view spoiler)[ OMG! I am loving their chemistry and love this book. This is a friends-to-lovers theme and quite a breather from enemies to lovers I have read recently. Tristan is just tooooo good! (hide spoiler)]

I really feel the same about Tristan. (view spoiler)[This is such a good book and I really really loved it. In some moments I felt like you can tell that it is one of her first books (or even the first? I'm not sure) but it is still so so good. (hide spoiler)]

I finished and could not stop myself from giving another 5 stars to MZ!

Now that you say it, it did feel like one of the initial books by MZ but still, it had so much heart. Tristan was just out-of-the-world. I initially felt it would be a 4-star read but I enjoyed this one a lot. I loved how the friendship evolved between them and slowly Tristan realised it was something more. I also felt MZ gave a lot of time post they start dating in this one which felt nice to read.

Exactly! I love how MZ's broad mindset comes across in her books... I am finding it hard to give any of her books less than 5 stars haha
