Doctor Who is a British science fiction television series broadcast by the BBC since 1963. The series depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called the Doctor, an extraterrestrial being who appears to be human. With various companions, the Doctor combats foes, works to save civilizations, and helps people in need.

3. Dr Mark Greene
Mark Greene, M.D. is a fictional character from the American medical drama series ER, portrayed by actor Anthony Edwards. He first appears in the series' pilot episode and subsequently appeared as one of the principal characters until the end of the eighth season. Considered to be the lead protagonist of the series’ first eight seasons, Greene's role was that of a mediator and occasional authority figure.

He is portrayed by Alan Alda in the television show. Born and raised in Crabapple Cove, Maine, Hawkeye is, according to the TV series, the son of Dr. Daniel Pierce.Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H) during the Korean War. Between long, intense sessions of treating critically wounded patients, he makes the best of his life in an isolated Army camp with heavy drinking, carousing, and pulling pranks on the people around him, especially the unpleasantly stiff and callous Major Frank Burns and Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan.

5 Dr Leonard Bones McCoy
Dr. Leonard H. McCoy, known as "Bones", is a character in the American science-fiction franchise Star Trek. McCoy was played by actor DeForest Kelley in the original Star Trek series. In 2266, McCoy was posted as chief medical officer of the USS Enterprise under Captain James T. Kirk, who often calls him "Bones". McCoy and Kirk are good friends, even "brotherly". The passionate, sometimes cantankerous McCoy frequently argues with Kirk's other confidant, science officer Spock, and occasionally is prejudiced against Spock's Vulcan heritage. McCoy often plays the role of Kirk's conscience, offering a counterpoint to Spock's logic. McCoy is suspicious of technology, especially the transporter. As a physician, he prefers less intrusive treatment and believes in the body's innate recuperative powers

Gregory House is the fictional protagonist of the American medical drama series House and was portrayed by English actor Hugh Laurie. House's character has been described as a misanthrope, cynic, narcissist, and curmudgeon.

8. Dr Watson.
John H. Watson, known as Dr. Watson, is a fictional character in the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Along with Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson first appeared in the novel A Study in Scarlet. As Holmes's friend and confidant, Watson has appeared in various films, television series, video games, comics and radio programs.

9. Dr Beverly Crusher
Beverly Crusher is a fictional character in the Star Trek franchise played by Gates McFadden. Debuting in the television series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, McFadden appeared in every season except for the second, as well as its spin-off feature films. Crusher was the chief medical officer of the Enterprise-D and Enterprise-E. Crusher attended Starfleet Academy from 2342 to 2350 during which she attended medical school. While attending the academy, she became romantically involved with fellow cadet Jack Crusher, married him and had a son Wesley Crusher.

10. Dr Bombay
Dr Hubert Bombay is the witch doctor for Samantha's family on the show Bewitched. Usually summoned by the incantation: "Calling Dr. Bombay! Calling Dr. Bombay! Emergency! Come right away!" he appears in outrageous costumes, appropriate to whatever bizarre activity he had been interrupted doing - with or without a nurse assistant. His antidotes for "witch" diseases sometimes go wrong, and Darrin calls him a "quack" when that happens. He usually ends his visits by popping out with a burst of laughter.

Sheldon Lee Cooper Ph.D., Sc.D., is a character in the tv series The Big Bang Theory and is portrayed by actor Jim Parsons. Sheldon is a senior theoretical physicist at Caltech, and shares an apartment with his colleague and best friend, Leonard Hofstadter. In season 10, Sheldon moves across the hall with his girlfriend Amy Farrah Fowler. He has a genius-level IQ of 187 but he displays a fundamental lack of social skills, a tenuous understanding of humor, and difficulty recognizing irony and sarcasm in other people, although he himself often employs them. He has a general lack of humility, empathy, and toleration. These characteristics provide the majority of the humor involving him, which are credited with making him the show's breakout character.

Penny is Leonard's next-door neighbor and main love interest, and the teasing of romance between the two of them is a major force driving the series. Dr. Hartley is a Psychologist in the Bob Newhart Show. He lives in Edgewater, Illinois and commutes (often getting lost or otherwise taking the wrong train) to and from Chicago. The rates he usually charges is luxurious: In 1975 he charges $35.00 U.S.D. per session hour which in 2021 is at least $179.94 U.S.D. per session hour. He is married to Emily.

14. Dr. Gilbert "Gil" Grissom
Gilbert Arthur Grissom (born August 17, 1956), Ph.D. is a fictional character portrayed by William Petersen on the CBS crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and its sequel, CSI: Vegas. Grissom is a forensic entomologist and for the series' first nine seasons, a CSI Level III Supervisor employed by the Las Vegas Police Department. Grissom was born as an only child to a middle-class family in Santa Monica, California. Grissom's father taught botany at a local college and passed his enthusiasm for natural sciences onto his son. His father died when Grissom was nine years old.

Martin Ellingham known as Doc Martin to the local people of Portwenn is a former surgeon and the GP of Portwenn. He is married to Louisa Glasson/Ellingham and shares a son and daughter with her. Doc Martin is a middle-aged man who usually has an uninviting expression. He is known for his characteristic tall height of 6 foot 3. He has closely cropped grey hair and distinctively large ears.

16. Dr. Douglas "Doogie" Howser
Dr. Douglas "Doogie" Howser (Harris) is the son of David and Katherine Howser. As a child, he twice survived early-stage pediatric leukemia after his father a family physician discovered suspicious bruising. The experience contributed to the younger Howser's desire to enter medicine. Possessing a genius intellect and a photographic memory he earned a perfect score on the SAT at the age of six, completed high school in nine weeks,[graduated from Princeton University at age 10, and finished medical school four years later. Howser was the youngest licensed doctor in the country. As a newspaper article stated, he "can't buy beer but can prescribe drugs".

Dr. Frasier Winslow Crane is a fictional character who is both a supporting character on the American television sitcom Cheers and the titular protagonist of its spin-off Frasier, portrayed by Kelsey Grammer. The character Frasier Crane was created in the third season of Cheers as Diane Chambers's "romantic and intellectual ideal" following her breakup with Sam Malone. In his titular spin-off, Frasier becomes "haughty, disdainful, and exceedingly uptight and did a show on a radio station.

18. Dr. Johnny Fever
Dr. Johnny Fever is a fictional character on the American television sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati. He was portrayed by Howard Hesseman. Johnny Fever, whose real name is John Caravella, was a hippie in the 1960s. Johnny began working his way up in the radio business and became a highly popular and successful DJ. He was a star at a major station in Los Angeles, until he said the word "booger" on the air, and was fired. He went town to town looking for work and became a DJ in WKRP in Cincinnati playing Rock n Roll in the morning slot.

19. Dr. John McIntyre
Captain "Trapper John" McIntyre (born John Francis Xavier McIntyre), is a character in Richard Hooker's M*A*S*H novels, as well as in the 1970 film and two TV series. McIntyre is portrayed by Elliott Gould in the 1970 film, by Wayne Rogers in MASH, and then by Pernell Roberts in the 1979-86 series. Trapper John, is a thoracic surgeon and in the film is appointed chief surgeon at the 4077th. In the film he had a very dry and sardonic sense of humor, while in the TV series he was more of a clown. In the TV series, Trapper was married, but still fraternized with the nurses while remaining devoted to his wife and children.
