I then got the idea to write an old-fashioned wild west train robbery book. Immediately I knew Express had to be in the title but what to call the train? Eventually, I settled on Brimstone Express and all I had to do from there was think of a plot and write it.

I hope people will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

“You know what three days of mutton does to a man’s stomach?” - Diego Ortega, Brimstone Express
“I used to think I wanted to be a preacher like my granddaddy until I realized that sin-busters are more corrupt and murder more people by their words than anything I could ever do with a gun” - Solomon Moss, Brimstone Express
“What can I say? I’m a cold and heartless bastard.” - Kiero Dusk, Brimstone Express
“Your shape reminds me of a typical description of a gunslinger in one of those penny dreadful novels I once read” - Kiero Dusk, Brimstone Express

I just finished writing my 11th novel and 2nd western horror, Brimstone Express. I wanted to write another weird/western horror for two reasons, one, I enjoy the genre, and two, the second book I ever wrote was in the genre so in a way it was me going back to my roots. I created this topic as a way to discuss and keep you all updated on it.
Here's a blurb on what the book is about:
A gritty gunslinger desperate for money. One train robbery may change everything.
He’s wanted dead or alive but either way, he’s going to Hell...
Kiero Dusk is a dangerous man. He and his gang have been robbing trains for over a year and have never been caught. Dusk is unpredictable, and not your average outlaw. He’ll shoot anyone and doesn’t care about the consequences...
One day in the saloon, he overhears a tall tale about a mysterious train called the Brimstone Express. The train only operates at night and is said to have everything a man could ever want. Seeing a big opportunity, Dusk asks more about it, caring not that everyone who's tried to rob it ends up dead.
Will this be the biggest heist the West has ever seen or will it be the end of the line?
