Thank you for sharing. AI is certainly a hot button issue, and I am as equally disturbed by it. This might be a good thread to post other links to news and opinions about AI as well, so that other writers here can stay informed about its assault on the media industry. I say "media industry" because actors and screenwriters are deeply concerned too.

Its even worse than that, scammers are using AI to put books up in the names of popular authors, filled with junk. And its not easy to get books removed from your name on Amazon.

The only hope we have is for successful authors to win in the courts on the basis of copyright infringement . . . unless you can think of another measure?

It gives writers the ability to past text in and determine which percentage of it might have been poached by AI generators.
