Like if you play studio Ghibli music it actually helps, like this playlist next time you want to listen to music while reading https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i...
And like it works for me don’t hate me if it doesn’t work for you
I’ll occasionally put on an instrumental playlist if I’m in public or somewhere with a lot of noise. I can’t listen to music with words though.
sometimes I do listen to some of those playlists, but it needs to be the same vibe than the book I am reading other I lose focus on cannot concentrate on the story.
About 40% of the time, yes! A lot of music is distracting, but I like playing Lana Del Rey while I read
It really depends for me. Sometimes I can concentrate better and sometimes not at all while reading.
Instrumental music is my go to for reading, if I’m listening to a playlist with lyrics I have to keep it really low bc it will end up distracting me.
i feel like when i listen to music while reading i get distracted, but i am always a fan of playing those little cozy ambiance youtube videos in the background to make it feel more warm when i'm reading depending on the season
