✰DoveyV✰ | 499 comments Here is the student schedule template, it's completely optional whether you want to create schedules for your OCs and even if you do make one or two that doesn’t mean you have to make one for all of your OCs, it's up to you. I would also be willing to make some for you if you'd like :)
If you are going to create one then please see the extra info below which will explain a few things and delete any explanations in parentheses on the template itself. Thank you.

✰DoveyV✰ | 499 comments EXTRA INFORMATION

MINIMUM HOURS
- core classes = 3 hours per week [this can be three standard one hour classes or you can add a double two hour class*, only one class a day unless taking advanced which are typically not taken in any of the seven standard periods] [this does not include Astronomy which has a minimum of 2 hours per week]
- electives = 2 hours per week [unless elective is need for career choice in which it is considered a core class and the student is required 3 hours per week]
- extracurricular = just 1 hour per week [the student can choose to make their extracurricular activities an elective after completing their OWLs in fifth year if they are recommended for their career choice, ex: Ghoul Studies for a Mazoologist]
- free periods = year one and two typically have three free periods at most, years three through five typically have two although fifth years need the time for homework, sixth and seventh years have one or two depending on their career choice (this is including the extra hour given to year six and below as part of their pre-dinner free time)
- advanced classes = one extra hour of chosen class per week, which means if it a core class then 4 hours are required, if it is an elective then 3 are required

Each student has a total of 34 hours to work with although it is possible to add an extra period to the end of each day (the eighth period on the template: you can add it to all five weekdays if needed, or just one or two, however many as needed). Monday through Thursday have seven total standard one hour periods while Friday only has six allowing students an extra hour of free time before dinner, this means that two periods can be added to Friday resulting in a full schedule with no free periods allows for 40 hours of class (not including Astronomy as it’s held at midnight, dueling club and quidditch are also not counted in this number). With a full schedule you will still have one hour of free time before dinner rather than two (or three on Friday).

QUIDDITCH practice is two one or two hour practices a week accompanied by a longer three or four hour practice on the weekend, all are mandatory unless the captain says otherwise.
- gyrffindor [tuesday 5am-7am, thursday 7pm-8pm, sunday 2pm-6pm]
- hufflepuff [tuesday 7pm-8pm, thurday 5am-7am, sunday 8am-12pm]
- ravenclaw [monday 5am-7am, wednesday 7pm-8pm, saturday 2pm-6pm]
- slytherin [monday 7pm-8pm, wednesday 5am-7am, saturday 8am-12pm]

DUELING CLUB is one mandatory practice (on a day of your choice) a week with two more optional practices, although the more practices you get attend the more likely you are to be picked for the team each tournament.
- gryffindor [monday, wednesday & saturday 7pm-9pm]
- hufflepuff [monday, wednesday & saturday 7pm-9pm]
- ravenclaw [tuesday, thursday & sunday 7pm-9pm]
- slytherin [tuesday, thursday & sunday 7pm-9pm]

APPARITION
All sixth years have the opportunity to learn how to apparate. Once a week, a Ministry instructor will teach a one hour class in the Great Hall seventh period (3-4pm) every Thursday. If the student chooses to, they may take this class in their seventh year though it is not recommended. Only those who are of age (seventeen) by the 1st of June may take the test as part of their sixth year exams, if they are too young they may take them at school the following year or may take the test at the ministry over the summer. Sixth years who fail their final test will be given another opportunity next school year or may take one at the ministry four months after their last test.

*double classes take up two periods which can show by simply entering the class in both slots separately
