The Green Mile starring Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan isn’t just one of the best adaptations in my opinion but it’s one of my top five favorite movies OF ALL TIME. Literally only three movies have made me cry and whether it’s the book or movie I will cry every time.

So in your opinion what’s the best or your favorite book to screen adaptation?

Probably a generic answer, but The Fault In Our Stars is on of my fav movies of all time! Also the show Sharp Objects is a great film adaptation, just as good as the book (if not better) in my opinion

Mine is the adaptation of the hunger games. It was great, the director didn't twist the story or change anything too crucial for the plot. It wasn't perfect, but it's better than most of the ya adaptations.

Will I be stoned for saying The Princess Bride? It is one of the rare instances where I prefer the movie over the book.
