Once Upon a Time discussion

Is anyone else really excited for the next book, Violet Eyes, about the princess and the pea? I sure am. By the way, I'm new here, and I love this series! I've read every one but Spirited.

I'm really looking forward to it too! I haven't finished Winter's Child yet, but hopefully I'll finish that one soon. I love Spirited. It's one of my fav. Prob cuz it's so different from the original fairy-tale. It's Beauty and the Beast btw. xD Don't you think that's kinda odd? that there are 2 beauty and the beasts?

Yeah, I was kindof wondering about that. Is this one better than Belle?

It depends on what you like. I like it better because it's more origonal and I like the indian-style better. plus it's not obvoius what's gonna happen next. xD

Belle A Retelling of "Beauty and the Beast" is a more traditional re-telling of Beauty and the Beast - but Spirited A Retelling of "Beauty and the Beast" is an unconventional retelling - I enjoyed them both! I wonder if someone complained that there wasn't a more traditional version of Beauty and the Beast and they had another author attempt it?

Probably The Storyteller's Daughter. Although I love Before Midnight, Midnight Pearls, and Golden!

It's always so hard to pick! I don't think I could pick the 'best' one. I could my fav, but that doesn't mean it's the best.

So I found out there's a new book due to come out in June about Jack and the beanstalk, called The World Above. I'm excited to read that, and see how Dokey portarys the story. The cover is really neat too.
