Tessa Rudolph | 14 comments Does anyone have any tips for writing scenes in between two main events? I’m in the plotting stage of my novel but am stuck on trying to figure out what my MC is going to do between major plot points. For example, I know my point A and my point B, but I don’t know how to come up with what’s going to happen in between that will get my MC to point B. How should I tackle these in between scenes?
Any help is appreciated!!

vyn targaryen ˖˚⊹ ꣑ৎ‎ (vyntargaryen) One tip that I have is to not write a single scene that's not progressing your MC to point B. In a chapter plan, write out a series of events that your MC will need to go through to get to point B, and then write those chapters, keeping only scenes that are necessary for plot/character/relationship development!
Hope this helps :)

Tessa Rudolph | 14 comments Thanks!! That’s definitely makes sense not to write anything that’s not necessary 😊
