😀 Cho. Hear me out before you stop me!Cho had reasons for everything!
1) Cho saw her BOYFRIEND'S corpse, that's enough to make anyone sad
2) She WAS a teenager. ALL TEENAGERS GO THROUGH MOOD SWINGS
3) Yes, Cho defended Marietta (in books) and sold out to the D.A. (in the movies), but in the movies she was Veritaserum and in the books she probably just didn't want to lose someone else.
4) Harry wasn't exactly a nice guy in Book 5 to Cho either. He was constantly being grumpy at Ron & Hermione, then he lashed out at Cho a lot!
5) Cho was never given a break!
6) Hermione was right when she told Harry that Cho was probably jealous (as evidenced when Harry was trying to find the diadem in the final book)
7) When Cho volunteered (but was shot down BY Ginny) to help Harry find the diadem, Cho was probably hopeful that she could apologize to Harry and when she say his "corpse" she probably felt as though she lost her chance to do so...
Neither lmfaoMovie Ginny was as interesting as wet cardboard and Cho was completely flat. Book Ginny over book Cho though, for sure.

Wet cardboard is interesting >:(
I don't get why people hate Cho Chang. In my opinion, she is more likeable and realistic character than Ginny and she had the absolute right to cry after her boyfriend's tragic death. Imagine going through tremendous sorrow and everyone is expecting you to not even feel sad about it. Also, Cho always had been kind, whether not wearing support Diggory badges or joining DA after the grief or even maturely helping Harry in Deathly Hallows. She always proved to be a very likeable character and Harry comparing Ginny to Cho about her being "weepy" was wrong because not only was it right to cry after such a huge loss but also Ginny too cried. Remember the time Ginny teared up on Harry's birthday in DH? Let's not hate characters just because everyone hates them.If you disagree please don’t attack me :)

Ginny knew Harry was going to leave in the final book but was just like "Kiss me!" while Cho in OTP (order of the phoenix) was still grieving.

I like both characters. But i just love Ginny soo much. Great sense of humour, quick wit, amazing bogey hexes ...she is just a powerpack
I feel bad for Cho, and I think she was a girl put under a lot of stress (yeah Harry suffered more, but someone drowning in a deeper pool does not mean you are not drowning), That being said, I think Ginny is a better partner for Harry, though the way their romance was written felt forced and extremely underdeveloped, at least in my opinion. Also Ginny is definitely the definition "cool girl" archetype.
GINNY 100% Cho Chang annoys me so much!
She doesn’t understand Harry like Ginny does and she just wants to be near him because he reminds her of Cedric.

But they don't call Harry emotional when he lost (1) his parents (2) Sirius (3) Hedwig (4) Dumbledore (5) Ron (when they fought in DH)
honestly, i'm kind of team Cho. Ginny seems to be a manufactured perfect girlfriend and that annoys me quite a bit, a character made 180° progession from book 4 to book 5... i dont know. at the same time people change a lot a that age so that's not entirely unrealistic but yeah. i just like Cho.
Ginny all the way!! I feel as though Cho and Harry only happened because Cho needed an "escape" and Harry was there so she was like, "Oh! I like you! Let me kiss you!" I do think that people who are Team Cho have a point with how Harry all of a sudden just happens to have feelings for Ginny but it actually happens and it's really weird.
Who Harry was going to end up with never was the major interest for me while reading the books (after all not everyone meets the love of their lives at school). At first, I liked neither Cho nor Ginny very much, but in "The Half-Blood Prince", I started admiring Ginny for her independence and for realizing that she needed to give Harry the space to figure out that he actually liked her not only as a friend. So in the long run, it's Ginny!
Ginny all the way. Cho annoyed me so much. Actually, what annoyed me more was that Harry found Cho attractive even though she almost ignored Harry so she could cry about her dead boyfriend. I was actually hoping that they would at least cut some of that from the movies, but instead they focused on it way more than the books did, so I literally cannot sit through the Order of the Phoenix movie without wanting to vomit. I also thought that Ginny and Harry were a cuter couple in the books, because they cut a lot of Ginny and Harry’s romance in the Half Blood Prince, which was very disappointing, to say the least.
Ginny 300%It bothered me how Harry was like a rebound for Cho, especially since he was so much better than Cedric, but I do understand that she was hurting. I just didn’t like it.
Ginny and Harry’s chemistry in the movies tho……. 😬
