Another month, another nomination period. SFF works published in 2023 are eligible - novel, novella or a collection of short stories/magazine

Stephen Burridge | 236 comments I’ll nominate Titanium Noir by Nick Harkaway. I’ve read very little Harkaway but this has received some positive reviews and looks interesting.

Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh. Last shot with the group.

Karl Drinkwater (karldrinkwater) Are we allowed to suggest our own work? I had one SFF book published in 2023: Finding Solace by Karl Drinkwater. I'd be happy to provide a free copy of it to the group.

MH | 306 comments I'll nominate Mammoths at the Gates - it should have been out for well over a month by then.

I guess if you'd like, there can be a buddy read if it doesn't win. I guess last time it got like 3 votes which is ok for our small group

Rebecca | 411 comments Right, Kalin and I have been campaigning for it for a few months now ;) hopefully this time we’ll get lucky! But a BR is fine by me as well.

Yeah, Rebecca and I talked elsewhere that if it doesn't win we'll buddy read it and stop nominating it in this group, since it's been put into a poll pretty much every month since spring and has yet to win.

I can go for Some Desperate Glory, but I am not sure that I have time for that many books that month

I'll close nominations and create a poll tomorrow, so it is your last chance to add one.

The poll is on https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/2...

A general note - several nominees are not first books in their series

Looks like we will indeed read Some Desperate Glory! I'll do my best to join that one.

There are two more days to vote, but yes, Glory leads now and I guess it'll win
