Did I forget? Yes, yes I did! I've lost track of what day it is these days. 🤣 Last night as I was going to bed I went wait, is it Labor Day weekend? Shoot!

What are you reading to start off the new month?

I'm starting off the month with and it will be the first book read for Lower the Library Challenge (read digital owned books) on Instagram hosted by @readwithria! And I will probably try Chuck Palahniuk's new one, . My focus for LTL is NetGalley ARCs so I'll have to take a peek at my other this comingg Tuesday pubs and last Tuesday pubs.

I’m going to finish The Alchemist by Coelho and The Dream House by Carmen Machado!

TBR TBD, but will focus on Fantasy and School/Academy for 2 other GR Groups, plus SF.

Yay! This is actually kind of perfect because today is all about reading as much of my September pick as possible! I’d love to get halfway done by the end of the day, but we’ll see. My TBR for the rest of the year is absolutely PACKED, so if I still want to keep up with my monthly challenges, I’ll need to cross off quickly.

I’m planning to work on some books in a series that I’m really enjoying.

September 1 - Meant for Love by Marie Force

September 2 - Chance for Love by Marie Force
Gansett After Dark by Marie Force

September 3 - Kisses After Dark by Marie Force

September 4 - Love After Dark by Marie Force

If I find time, I’ll try to squeeze these in too, Into the Dark by Karen Rose and Say No More by Karen Rose

The aftereffects of my Covid are still lingering and concentrating on anything (and staying awake!) are super hard so I've fallen behind on my reading. I'll be trying to finish up some of the several things I've got going... but if what I wind up doing is napping all weekend just know that I'm cheering y'all on in spirit, lol!

Yahoo! A Readathon! This will be my last hurrah before I start my new job (which I think it is REALLY going to cramp my reading total...). Anyway, I plan to finish:

Oh no, Stacie! :( That sucks. My husband had the brain fog for weeks but I was able to read every day aside from the first 2-3 days where I basically just slept.

I'm 40% through . It reminds me of a creepypasta story from years ago, Candle Cove! It's 80 degrees today and will be 90 tomorrow and Sunday! Gorgeous but sleepy weather lol.

Can you do audiobooks with Covid? If you use a library, they may have Libby and/or Hoopla, you wouldn't have to leave your house. Get better soon!

I'm no longer infectious, I'm just still dealing with the brain fog, exhaustion, headaches and random coughing jags. I do listen to audiobooks... in about 10 minute increments, because I keep dozing off, lol! It's only been a week since I've been cleared to return to work so hopefully I'll start seeing some improvement soonish :)

I read up to 48% in yesterday. Planning to get more done tonight after work.

I did! I ended up giving it 4 stars. There's a bit of a magical loose end but I enjoyed it. She definitely took Candle Cove and ran with it!

I finished and also read to clear up some of my KU borrows. I didn't realize the time crunch I had with reviewing for points (have to review and get review approved by Amazon by Tuesday for 300 points on BookishFirst.com) so that's up next instead of . I have the paperback and borrowed the audio for The Marvellers.

Restarted reading tonight before bed. It’s just as good as I remember!

I read/listened to all of yesterday! It was a really good HP alternative! Now I have to listen to today because I'm doing a buddy read of the newest one tomorrow! I also need to start reading since I am behind on that buddy read. Plus fam's coming over today so mostly listening will be happening while I get the house clean. lol

Ugh I hate Simon Vance's narration! But it's my only option for . Sad days 😭

Yet another person who hasn't received! Several complaints about that at the Holly Buddy Read @Nightmares and Dreamscapes. I'm up to Chapter 38 on Audio and let me tell you: block out your time, this one is super good!
