I'm sorry it's coming out this way, but I made a Vent Chat for a reason. It's there to be used for anything that's going on with you. Just fucking use it. Please.

I've come to conclusion with me being inactive on goodreads for the past year. I've been trying to get into the flow of loving goodreads, and always being excited to get on. That's the past, i'm not that person anymore. I've grown, and became better from what I once was. Goodreads just isn't for me anymore. I'll have my account up. I don't know if I'll quit permanently but I am quitting. More of a break. School is a lot, causing me to not have time for this website/app anymore. I'm a high schooler. So.. yeah this just won't cut it anymore. I love to role-play and meet new people online but, it's coming to an end. I hate to say it but I have grown out of it. If you wanna still stay in contact, I'll be staying online for the next 24hrs. You can ask for; Tiktok, Discord, or my Snap.
This group is still open to everyone. The mods that are here are trustworthy enough to keep things under control so I have no worries.

listen, there is a reason why there are so many chats. mainly because people probably want to focus on one main topic. i would appreciate that you guys keep specific topics in specific chats. like the main chat is for anything, speak your mind obviously, theres a vent chat incase you might need some advise. sus chat if your feeling sus, and so on.

we all should know what 'my page' means.
right, so when the first person says 'my page' the page is now considered theres. no matter what. if it shows that they were first, then they were first. stop fighting over unnecessary things, we arent in elementary.

sus chat
listen to the people who dont like the chat, understandable. i understand it can lead to triggers. this is why there are multiple other chats. if you dont wanna be associated with the main chat than simply just dont click on it. you literally use your own fingers, brain and eyes to calculate and move your mouse, screen, pad, etc. so if you keep looking at the sus chat, whos fault is that? yours. exactly. yeah look at it once to see what its about, cool if you dont like it dont CLICK on the sus chat.
i get triggered myself, but i keep it to myself. the only reason i check the sus chat is to usually remind people to take side conversations to the main chat. or maybe ill send something a little sus, but not to bad. im just there to moderate it. because i know my triggers, and i dont want to accidentally read something that could trigger me. but if something does trigger me i know how to deal with it myself.
also to the people who are active in the sus chat. please keep detail to a minimum. use key words such as 'his/her member.' if things start getting hot take it to dms please. the sus chat is supposed to be a hj (half joke) meaning your being for real about it, but also somewhat joking. also, again KEEP side conversations in the main chat.
another thing, i add things to the group for my members. meaning its not just for the mods. i make sure my members get what they want. but that doesn't mean always, or mean everything is going to be fair. so keep that in mind. you control what you do, so if your reading the sus chat and KNOW you dont like it and could get TRIGGERED then dont fucking READ IT. simple at that. because now your just making excuses.
and im sorry if it came off as rude, because it honestly kind of did.

ANNOUNCEMENT
you guys probably have seen the new update for goodreads. it was surprising and honestly very stupid for them to do. they are taking away one of our known ways of communication, i understand why they possibly could have taken it away. i feel like they just have to understand bad people are everywhere, and even taking away dms/pms isnt going to change anything. so i made a poll, and its most likely not going to work but who knows maybe goodreads will see it and try changing something, or maybe make something new? we need our pms/dms for many reasons. no one feels like making a whole group just to have a private conversation that might last just 10 minutes. so here is the poll:
