Anxiously awaiting B.A. Paris' newest - THE GUEST. Haven't met a B.A. Paris story that I haven't loved!!!!

I just found out that Leigh Bardugo has a new book coming out in April 2024. It's called the Familiar, and is historical fantasy set in the Spanish Golden Age.

Simone St. James has a new one scheduled for March 2024: Murder Road.

The Simone St. James and BA Paris sound good to me.

The Jinn Daughter

One of my favorite series is Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs. She has a new book to be released in June!

Just finished The Heiress by Rachel Hawkins.

Not impressed.

I read The Women by Kristin Hannah

Did not live up to the hype in my opinion. No plot and unlikable lead character. There wee some intertwining things about the nurses' experience in Vietnam, including the MC suffering from PTSD. But in my opinion some of her problems were self created but were portrayed as being off shoots of her PTSD.

I read The Longest Autumn by Amy Avery. ★★★

I read The Swifts: A Gallery of Rogues by Beth Lincoln - 8/22/24.
