It's easy to read a biography or memoir of someone you like... it's another thing entirely to read a biography or memoir of someone you DON'T like or just aren't a fan of. Good luck!

Dang it! I already read Matthew McConaghey's book! (Sorry, I just don't get the appeal.) I'm thinking about reading a biography of Ayn Rand.

I think there are a couple that i am just not a fan of but the book sounded good...not big into celebrities

Sophie Santos – The One You Want to Marry

I'll make it very clear that I won't read a book by someone I can't stand. I can pick this one because I'm entirely indifferent to the person, because I'm still not clear on what kind of celebrity she is. Only that she is one.

I had this book as an Amazon First Reads pick. I'd no idea who she was, but the cover amused me. That was probably as good of a reason as any other for selecting it with First Reads.

I'm going to use a memoir I read earlier... From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily, and Finding Home by Tembi Locke. I had no idea who this person was when I read it and so, not a fan.

I read a memoir...Sociopath: A Memoir by Patric Gagne. Never heard of her before this book so not a fan.

I read Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson. It was long. I learned a lot, but I'm still not a fan.

I read Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner - 7/16/24.
