Inspired by Marilyn's lists and the nominations for November (from Barsetshire series) I would like to suggest reading series.

We will read one series in one quarter (we will start with the two-book series).

Which one would you like to read next?

Delia Scully Series by Maura Laverty
Rebecca Landon Series by Rosamond Lehmann
Theseus Series by Mary Renault
Le Labyrinthe du Monde Series by Marguerite Yourcenar (two first parts of the series)

[Edit Jan2024]:
We have read Edith Wharton two-books-series already: Hudson River Bracketed and The Gods Arrive.
Now we are reading Jenny Wren Series by E.H. Young.

Great!

So we will read these two novels by Edith Wharton in the next three months. At the beginning of October, I will add a thread to the discussion.

By the way, if someone would like to nominate another series (from the mentioned above) - feel free, we will set it for the first quarter of 2024.

Antoinette | 22 comments I won’t be able to join for this one, but maybe the next. Too many books on my have to read already.

Marilyn Since we will have read the first books, I am planning to read The Weather in the Streets and hopefully the rest of the Frost in May series sometime next year.

I have just started to read The Weather in the Streets. I wanted to do buddy-read this month (here is the thread) but it looks like I am doing "an alone-read".

I have read The Lost Traveller already but it will be nice to read together the three and fourth parts of Frost in May series.

JosephineBookwyrm | 22 comments I have the whole E H Young series (trilogy?) so I would like to read those books.

Jenny Wren series has two books. At least, it looks like. If you have different information - share it with me.

JosephineBookwyrm | 22 comments Yes, you’re right, Mela.
There’s Jenny Wren and The Curate’s Wife in the duology. I thought The Vicar’s Daughter might be part of the series, but it seems to be a stand-alone.

Robin P | 57 comments Sorry there hasn't been as much participation as was hoped. I would have liked to read all the selections, but have too many other commitments both on and off GR.
