Lynn | 130 comments Has anyone else read SPOOKSHOW https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... by Tim McGregor? I personally thought it was awesome up until the last book. I think the author lost his muse or something, and his other books are just weird.

I forget how many books are in the series, but I thought it was a great series that I was always chomping at the bit for the next book! There are at least 9 or 10 good books in the series.

Lynn | 130 comments Has anyone read the ODD THOMAS series https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... by Dean Koontz? They’re pretty creepy, but Odd is a pretty good guy who is easy to like, so I enjoyed those all the way to his demise.

Graveyard
Lorraine Warren

Ghost Hunters
Lorraine Warren

I recommend these two books about the Warrens. Real characters who had connections to the haunted world

Amanda’s counting the days 🐾 (ajosephine) | 30 comments A classic Poe story that I hadn’t read until recently is the Masque of the Red Death. Depending on how the reader interprets it, it’s pretty haunting, but also thought-provoking. Also, pretty much anything by Shirley Jackson. Both authors leave you with creeps/chills, but you’re still thinking about ‘the bigger message’.

Morgan Rose | 89 comments Home before Dark by Riley Sager

This year, I read the Warrens' "Ghosthunters" and Grady Hendrix's "How to Sell a Haunted House".

The Odd Thomas series and books from Adam Neville are lined up for 2024,
