Yay! I hope this is as good as her 1st series.

Me too. Hopefully should have some of the same characters.

I will be happy to re-visit those characters and the witty banter.

I so missed these characters. Prudence is all grown up. Love her!

I lover her abilities. Not only shape-shifting but that she can take on different personalities.

Yes, that is a handy ability. I think her vampire father Dorma helped with those.

Loved her running through town with her bloomers in werewolf form.

Chanel is going to give Rue a run for her money.

I love the combination of Prim and Rue... both have their own interesting talents. I just ordered a signed copy of this book.

I like Spoo. The only think I don't like about audio books is that I'm not sure how to spell certain characters' names

Names are different :) I've missed this author's writing. I wish I would have liked her other spin off series more.

I absolutely adore Rue and Prim. They remind me of their mothers so much...but yet they each have their own personalities.

Totally agree. Prim doesn't quite have her mother's silliness. She has sensibility and her and Rue make a great team. Rue is an interesting combination of her parents and Dorma. Love it!

Who knew that the acquisition of tea would be so dangerous and eventful.

What are we wanting to read next week?

Final thoughts: I love the author's writing style...the wit and the humor. Rue is definitely a force to be reckoned with. I loved that we got to see some of the old characters in this book, but they didn't overwhelm it. This was definitely Rue's story. I also liked that the romance was very light, though I could see it possibly going somewhere in the future. Poor Quesnel, I'm sure has no idea what he's in for :)

Totally agree. I enjoyed this new cast of characters. I thought them blended well...all unique and quirky.

Next up in the Dark Hunter series is
Y'all should like this one because it isn't dream hunters. The where's are back. Love them!

The weres are my favorites...mostly because I just like shape shifters :)

This one is with Fang. Love him!

I really didn't like prudence. It made me really sad as I have loved all other books that i've read by this author. I couldn't make it through this one but to each their own.
