Harsh blowing winds, kicking up dust storms and venomous insects.

Todd Jr. ran here. He could hardly see through all of the sand blowing around him, but that meant nobody else could see him either. He picked a relatively flat spot and made it his home base - but before searching through his backpack, he stayed on guard for a couple more minutes to make sure nobody could sneak up on him.

Jack ran here as well, a bit further out than Todd did, but Jack couldn't see him. He found a flat rock and rifled through the small bag he got from the Cornucopia.

Todd Jr, did not see Jack, or anyone for that matter, and thus decided to put down his sword and rifle through his backpack.
He muttered to himself, "one roll of gauze, one bottle of antiseptic, some sandwiches, and... a lighter." No weapons though - which meant Todd had to make sure he never lost his sword.

Todd packed everything other than his sword into his backpack to prevent it from getting sandy. Suddenly, an especially strong gust of wind blew sand right into his face. He fell to the ground, loudly hacking and temporarily blinded.

Esmé feeling exhausted stumbled into the dunes, shortly after, she collapsed from exhaustion. Her last thought was that she hoped her hair and makeup wouldn't be messed up. (view spoiler)[ It would be. (hide spoiler)]

Esmé awoke. Her hair is wild and crazy. Sand sticking to her makeup. Realizing how hungry and thirsty she was, Esmé started making her way to the cornucopia...

Todd recovered from his temporary blindness and saw Esme. "Over here!" He yelled to her.

Todd drank some of his water. All of the sand in his throat had made him thirsty.

Esmé, who had saw Todd get blinded, ran over to Todd. "Here", she reached out her hand and helped him up. Esmé then started to leave but she realized Todd might get blinded again so she decided that she should take him with her to the cornucopia.

"Hey, thanks." He smiled a little, despite the situation.
"Where are you off to?"

"Umm, you're welcome...? I think?" She started dragging Todd by the leg. "Cornucopia"

He scrambled away from her grasp. "What the hell - are you trying to kidnap me?"

Jace walked through the dunes arm bleeding and ready to hide.

He sat back to the sun and starts singing. "Try to stop staring at the sun but my eyes get the best of me I'm on the edge I'm in to deep why can't you see that I'm right here waiting."

Todd Jr. heard singing and whipped his head around, but couldn't find the source. "Who's there?" He called out.

Todd whipped his head the other way and saw Esme had gone. He decided to follow her - these dunes were too inhospitable.

Jace kept singing "If you ever loved me have mercy." He looked at his throwing knives. With an intent of ending himself.

"If your talking to me names Jace and I mean no harm."
