Heck yes she should have! Lol! And Curran definitely should not have left her in the dark about it all. His Furiness made a bad call with that, IMO.
When you do stuff like this, it just doesn't end well most of the time. But, at this point, I think Kate was looking for anything to make her believe Curran didn't have feelings for Lorelei and would defend her. Of course, this just deteriorated an already awful condition.
Kate needed the reassurance that Curran was still hers. Of course, when one eavesdrops one should be prepared to hear things that one doesn't want to. Of course, Curran was very naughty kitty and he shouldn't have kept his suspicions from Kate.
