Doolittle could not mask his reaction when he realized he didn't die and thought Kate may have recreated him to be like her. It obviously hurt her but what effect, if any, will this have on their relationship going forward?

I get it now but at the time I was kind of surprised that he had such a strong reaction. I didn't expect him to be horrified.

This hurt me! Of all people who should know Kate's heart, I would have thought Doolittle should. His look made it clear he'd rather die. My heart bled for Kate. This will probably resurface again.

Doolittle really annoyed me in this book! I so wanted to go in there and throttle him for his callous treatment of Kate. How dare he treat her that way after everything she has done for the pack?!

His behavior really put a damper on my affection for his character and troubled me far more than Curran's actions. What Curran did was out of love for his mate. Doolittle's reaction shows that despite evidence to the contrary, he has not accepted her into the pack 100%. It was a much more significant hurt.

Lauren and Jonetta, I had the same reaction. I was more hurt by Doolittle than Curran.

And Jonetta, I think you might be right about it resurfacing...

Doolittle needs his ass kicked!

It seems Kate will never be fully accepted despite everything they say. I don't think she has a real future with the pack. Something is going to happen which takes her out of it. I don't know what though because that's where Curran is!!!
