Hi Juan, I updated to reading this book! I have the paperback version. Am really excited about this one cause I love medieval themed adventures! Do you want to talk about the map and prologue or just jump into reading some chapters?

Hey River! Hope ur still on! um I have the ebook so maybe the page numbers are different? Im an average reader so maybe we could read five chapters and then discuss?

Love it! I don't know if you saw already but there is a girl on the back. Detailed map! A very cool pronunciation and character guide in the beginning as well.
Yeah all awesome! so I read the prologue and um defiantly seeing some foreshadowing here...like the beginnings of the chosen one trope
Yes!!! I'm a fan of that trope! I get o.g. fantasy storytelling vibes in the start.

Yeah me too! I get the mentor/apprentice feels, the conflicted morals, training to be an elite solider as well.
I'm really liking Jax. he is relatable and I think there is more to him coming up

Natassa's story is amazing as well. Broke my heart (actually cried) at one point

So that part we are told about the prophecy. Do you like prophecies?

He keeps everything entertaining need characters like him.
I guess. I kind of feel like drop kicking him somewhere. But you're right he is a great dynamic to the story.
