girlgroups! i've heard some songs by bts or other famous group, but i don't stan boygroups

boygroups!! i listen to my ult, bts, everyday and many of the groups i do enjoy listening are boygroups. although, i love listening to many girlgroups, too, especially 3rd gen!

BOYGROUPS FOREVER!!! Other than k-pop I like female artists better but in k-pop Boygroups definitely!

I feel like all the Boygroups are more versatile in terms of concept. BTS, Straykids, enhypen, TXT. Most girlgroups only have one concept.

I have only heard psycho by them and I loved it!! I'll definitely listen to more music by them. :)

girl-groups

i stan more girl groups than boy ones and i find collecting photocards is alot more fun for girl-groups than boy groups

even tho i do stan some boy groups and have some ult boys and groups i stan and collecting

Both hahahahah my ults are bg (BTS and Ateez) but I really love Blackpink, Le sserafim and NewJeans

I prefer boy groups only because, as a girl.... I find it harder to seriously stan a girl group (I know that sounds really weird lol). However, for soloists it's the complete opposite, I tend to stan female artists over male artists. What can I say I'm complicated lol XD

@Emily I completely agree with you about only being able to stan Boygroups. I mean admit it or not but there is always that physical attraction right?

TXT are incredible, I also love them :)

Boygroups. I tend to like their vocals more, with girlgroups the pitch can be too much for me and it's not enjoyable. And if I focus on a girlgroup too long the beauty standards start to scare me which is not a good time. And the choreography is insane sometimes it's so fun to watch
Also the kpop men are so fine but I'm not getting into that here that's too much

You and I have similar experience, except the fact I wasn't a reveluv. For me I just wasn't interested in boygroups, even tho all my friends stanned bgs than ggs. I always listened to ggs my entire life (apart from BTS) until the June/Aug of 2023, I officially became a STAY, and I started stanning boygroups. In overall, both boygroups as well as girlgroups are good as they're different in style.

I am a boygroup stan. BTS and Seventeen got me into K-pop and so I just sort of gravitated towards boygroups. Boygroups I also find very funny, and they can make me laugh even if I am on the verge of a mental breakdown lol. I also find it hard to stan girlgroups, because when I decide to stan girlgroups I think of them as role models so yeah... I only stan MAMAMOO and Dreamcatcher lol

i agree. i do stan ggs but while i actually watch bg's reality shows and "rely" on bgs when i am on the verge of a mental breakdown, i don't do that with ggs :,(

Same heree, even tho I stanned BP first, I've never watched their reality shows or anything, I've only been doing it for SVT, SKZ, BTS and Enhypen. I've always liked GGs before the discovery of SKZ in july 2023 (I mean when I started stanning them)

i prefer boy groups because i find myself looking in to them and keeping up with them rather then ggs.

true. not claiming they are fake but if u say that ggs are fake, that literally applies to bgs because they're all idols and bgs could be just as fake anyway. also if ggs do appear fake (not saying they are, i repeat), well that's because they have more standards than male idols do. i also doubt there were meant to be double standards in the beginning, just fans who criticize everything about female idols creating this illusion of double standards.
bringing up the "wow he should take off his shirt more" to "why isn't she wearing a bra to the airport? such shame" 😒

cause I like fast paced songs but girl groups mostly make cute or slow paced songs which I like sometimes but not always
p.s. I do like some gg such as aespa , g idle , mamamoo and most fav dreamcatcher

Thats true but before I was Atiny I was really into Blackpink and even after I found Ateez I was always trying to find ggs and I absolutely aDORE their music - IVE and Itzy and Bp are literal geniuses - but their chemistry and interactions never feel as "real" (idk how else to put it) as some bgs I stan - yes this is 100% a me problem and I should work on it 😭 lol

I think a few episodes here and there, but usually Weekly Idols and other content like that

i love weekly idols broooo...i also wish i could fine the full episodes of Knowing Bro's cause they're are only clips does anyone know where to find some??

okay! sorry then! I’m not on the internet much! so I must have old info!

for me SKZ was the first kpop group I stanned and I think that's why I gravitate more to boy groups I also find it easy to stan newer groups because you can easily get into their discography and lore because chat I started stanning NCT recently it's chaotic cause their a ten year old group and have so much content and stuff
