I haven't really read any horror, so I don't know which ones are good but I can recommend a lot of really good thrillers if you'd like, great for Halloween

'Five survive' is a great one to start with. Its really easy to read and quite good
I also really recommend 'The chalk man' or any other thriller by C.J Tudor, all of them are incredibly gripping and have unexpected twist and turns, not to mention the great fall vibes they have

The last one I've read is' Every single lie' and I do really recommend it but I encourage you to look at the TW first.

And of course the entire 'A good girls guide to murder series' (specially the 3rd book)

I know they are not horror books but they are still great thrillers for the Halloween season.
