I am not sure if you can help me. But I need to add a book and author that isn't on Goodreads. Is there a certain procedure. Thanks

Hi Rhonda, any Goodreads librarian can add it for you. I am not a librarian unfortunately, but I think there is an Ask the Librarians group.

Question for other members: do we have a librarian in the group that can help add the book for Rhonda?

I'm a librarian. We already have a thread in this group for librarian requests. Please make your book addition request on that page, Rhonda. Make sure you provide the Amazon page of the book edition you want to be added.

Hi there! It's taken me 4 months to notice we don't appear to have a thread for 'Favourite Books of 2024!!
Perhaps you haven't done one this year as it seems to have been fading in popularity over the years?!

Hi Alannah, did you freeze the fiction nominations thread on purpose? Right now, it isn't open for comments. I could open it, but I wasn't sure if you froze it on purpose to open it on a certain date?

Hi Greg, I froze it on purpose to send out on the 1st December. I'm just about to open it now and send out the broadcast message.

We try to keep the group focused on broader discussions and limit posts that are very specific to an individual project, as allowing these regularly can quickly become overwhelming.

You’re very welcome to take part in discussions on writing techniques, though for project-specific feedback we may not be able to approve those posts going forward.

Hi Jonia, Greg is at the moment absent, but I'm pretty certain that he didn't give your name for any marketing service. Especially of it's a paying service I'd be really carefull if I were you

Please don't engage with the email, as it may be a scam or someone impersonating him. We will try to make Greg aware of this so he can look into it. Thanks again for bringing it to our attention.
