It makes sense that Lisa and her daughter would have trouble connecting after all of these years. Lisa has no memory of Anita. She just knows what people have told her. I think they would have to really work to build a relationship. I'm not sure Lisa wants to do that work.
I agree, Robin. She was much more committed to her job than raising a child before she lost her memory so I shouldn’t have been surprised. But, I kind of was. Poor Anita.
I was not surprised that mother and daughter had an almost impossible task to try to build up a new relationship in these circumstances.
I agree with you. Anita has all the bad memories of her mother, and her mother doesn't have any memories of the past. They are too far apart to mend bridges at this stage.
I thought it was more of Lisa being disconnected. Anita was a toddler when Lisa disappeared and had no memory of her.
