What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I am looking for an older book a romance between a professor and a student (maybe a graduate degree, I can't remember). I know the two had an antagonist relationship at first. It was set in Tuscany where the MFC family was renting a villa. Anyone can help ? Could be late 1990’s beginning of 2000

Hi Kris thanks so much and sorry for responding now. I do not think so. The story if I remember is that first they meets and university and by coincidence they re mee again in Italy. Cannot seem to find it 😟
