Avery was at work, casually flirting with some college guys that had come in.

Sebastian rolled his eyes, passing by her with a tray full of food.

Avery grinned at Sebastian, hanging up her apron. "I'm off duty. Have fun without me brother." She kissed his cheek and then walked out into the cool New York air.

She bent her head against the rush of wind and headed to no where in particular, just walking.

Sebastian hummed and wiped the counter.

Sebastian chuckled. "I'm not perfect. No where near."

((kk im gonna pretend she didnt leave cuz i wasnt gonna hav them work at the bar, but now i think its a good idea :] ya so, rewind :D))

Avery laughed and nodded. "Nope, he's very imperfect."

Sebastian grinned, having heard her.

Avery laughed softly and took someone's order.

"Yeah, sure." She called back. She walked over to a table of construction workers and greeted them. "Hey guys. How you doing?"

They smiled at her and said. "Better now that you're here."

She laughed. "aww, you're making me blush."

They all laughed. "We like girls with authority!" They called to Krista.

Avery grinned.

Avery chuckled. "What do you boys want?"

A big guy in the back spoke up. "You two girls?"

Avery shook her head, smiling. "Sorry, but I don't play well with others."

She took the order and then gave it to Ryan, still not that great with mixing drinks.

Avery brought them over to the guys.

Seb cleared another table.

There was an uproar of noise, all agreeing.

Avery laughed and looked at Krista.

Groans echoed throughout the bar and Avery smiled. "Not the kind of fun you were looking for?" she teased.

The guys looked over at Sebastian and Ryan. "Are they why you won't come with us?" one of them called. "We could look like them again."

Avery smile.

Sebastian chuckled. "Well, she's my sister." He glanced at KRista and smiled. "And she's out of my league."

Avery laughed at her brother to hid the fact that Ryan's comment made her sad.

She turned away from Ryan and continued smiling at the guys. Another group of people came in and she went to take their orders.

Sebastian chuckled.

Avery got the drinks from Krista and expertly served them to her new table. "You guys need anything else?"

"No, we're good for now." A women told her. She smiled and walked away.

Sebastian watched Krista from the corner of his eye, smiling.

Sebastian and Avery exchanged worried glances. "We'll do whatever we can to help." Avery said.

Sebastian nodded and then looked at the crowds of people in the bar. "But you both know we don't have enough experience to run this place." He said solemnly.

Avery looked over at Krista, shocked. "Umm..."

Sebastian chuckled softly. "Yeah, that's a good idea. We can't have two waiters here, someone needs to pour drinks and neither of us is good at it."

Sebastian and Avery rolled their eyes at each other and then Avery left with Ryan.

Sebastian took some people's orders.

"No problem." she said, wrapping her coat tighter around her. "What's wrong this time?" she asked, knowing that they usually went to the hospital once a month.

Sebastian gave the drink orders to Krista. "You think your mom's gonna be good?" he asked.

He looked at her for a second and din't comment. He went back to his tables.

Avery nodded and got in the freezing car.

He laughed softly. "Yeah, she really does." He grabbed some of the drinks and delivered them. When he came back for more he said, "I think it has something to do with the fact that he's like, way older and kinda unattainable."

"It's ok." she said, warming her hands on the air vents.

He shrugged. "All I know is that my sister rarely doesn't get what-or who, she wants."

She glanced over at him, smiling. "I know where the hospital is Ryan."

Sebastian looked at Krista for a while. "How about we don't talk about them?" he asked, grinning slightly.

She laughed softly and turned in her seat to look at him. "OK so tell me something about yourself. You've been my boss for a while, but I know nothing about you."

"Anything besides my sister and your brother." He chuckled. "It's a total mood killer."

Avery laughed, the sound filling up the car. "You've been watching too much tv."

She laughed again. "Im sure you have a life."

Sebastian shrugged and smiled back.

"You're in a abnd? what do you play?" she asked.

She laughed. "Hey, concentrate on driving." she teased.

Sebastian smiled. "I want to be an actor. That's why I'm at NYU."

He laughed. "Most people say that. What about you?" he asked.

She smiled at him.

Avery got out of the car, the chilly air hitting her.

"Really?" he asked. "I can see you m ore in front of the camera."

"I'm picturing you as a gorgeous model. Not the one taking the pictures." he grinned.

She nodded. "Yeah, thanks."

She pulled it on and looke ddown at herself. It was about 4 sizes too big, but it smelled like him.

He laughed. "Never! I promise."

He laughed too and then a new costumer walked in. He sighed and went to take their order.

"It's fine." she answered, following him inside. She felt like an idiot, not able to say anything around him. Worse than an idiot, she felt young.

He gave the orders to Krista.

Avery looked at Kelsey in disbelief. "Did she really just WINK?" she asked Ryan.

"Yeah actually." he told her. "Next week we're doing ?Macbeth. You should come."

Avery stayed silent and walked inside.

Avery smiled at the doctor. He was pretty goodlooking, you know, for an old guy.

"Yeah." He grinned. "So you'll come?"

Seb scoffed dramatically. "I highly doubt that."

Avery nodded, glad he wasn't speaking some kind of doctor language.

Avery nodded and walked out the door, letting Ryan talk to his mom without her in there.

He chuckled. "You're saying you don't have many talents? Dilligent college student by day, hot bartender by night."

Avery glanced at Ryan. "You ready?" she asked.

"I'll have to get back to you on that." She answered, not looking at him.

Sebastian laughed. "Are you flirting back with me?"

She blushed and felt bad about denying him, but she stayed quiet, tired of him continuously rejecting her.

He grinned. "Always."

He smiled back at her.

Avery got in, looking out her window.

"Yeah, I'll be there. I'll make Avery come." Sebastian said.

Avery got out of the car and pulled off his sweatshirt, even thought it was freezing. Her shirt went up with the jacket and a small strip of her stomach showed. She tossed it to him. "Thanks." she said, walking inside.

Avery walked in and pasted a smile on her face. "Are we interrupting something?" she teased.

Sebastian chuckled and took the paper. "Thanks Ave. Perfect timing."

Avery shrugged and put on her apron.

"Hey, Ave. What's wrong?" Sebastian asked, worried.

"Nothing's wrong." she said.

She shrugged again. "I don't know what's wrong with him." she lied.

Sebastian knew she was lying.

Avery looked back at Krista. "His problems aren't mine. Obviously he feels the same way." she muttered the last part under her breath.

Avery didn't say anything.

Sebastian was watching her and took her aside for a moment. "What's wrong? Tell me." he said.

A tear slipped from her eye.

"Hey!" Sebastian said. "Tell me."

"H-he doesn't l-like me." She said like a 5-year old.
