November/11月 (ju-ichi-gatsu): Sports time!
November! And very hopeful that typhoon season is well and truly OVER! A couple of holidays this month for Culture Day (11/3, but Monday this year as the 3rd is Sunday) and Labor Thanksgiving Day on the 23rd. Our town has a fun festival called Tanunki Matsuri over the weekend closest to Culture Day with lots of fun shows & shops. Fun time to get out in the beautiful weather, and also time for us to drag out the winter futons & kotatsu (lovely low table with special blankets and a heater inside to keep you toasty!).
