Wrapping up October with Children of Memoryby Adrian Tchaikovsky. As for the mini-challenge, I have 2 options for “Has a graveyard scene” and can probably find something for “It was a dark & stormy night”.
I'm finishing up October with The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I did all 3 mini-challenges and am looking forward to whatever's in store for November
I did all three mini-challenges, and am finishing the month with Cold Days by Jim Butcher, number 14 in the Harry Dresden series.
I just finished The Girl Who Played with Fire for the main challenge (published posthumously) and then started on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer for the mini challenge prompt of has a graveyard scene,
I am finishing up Shark Heart. Strange premise, but a very fast read since some pages only have a sentence or two.
I am finishing October with 2 books of ghost stories, En hodeløs historie og andre grøss - spøkelseshistorier fra mange land by Cecilia Mörner and
Den store spøkelsesboka by Tom Egeland, and a book of horror short stories for teens,
Grøss - noveller for ungdom by T.M. Hetland and 17 more Norwegian authors.
I am wrapping up The Art of War. Looking forward to handing off this copy to my Navy friend Marshall when I'm done.
I'm 90% into an audiobook by Iain Banks, character- and relationship-driven rather than plot---it reads more like a play to me, as it's primarily dialogue, and might even remind of the two works from the Angry Young British Men literature movement.
I am finishing the month with Murder Under a Red Moon by Harini Nagendra.
I am still working on the mini challenges for September AND October...
Finished the mini challenge with Howl's Moving Castle for steampunk. I also finished Killers of the Flower Moon (graveyard) as October closed
