If you wish to have a buddy choose a book from your SBC bookshelf, please comment below with the amount of books you wish to have picked out for you.

I will pair you with your Buddy using Random.org on November 1st if enough have signed up by then.

Rules-ish:
You will need to create a shelf titled Stitchers Book Club TBR or SBC TBR on Goodreads. Put books on it that you can read in November 2023.

Awesome, thanks Sharon! For your buddy pick.... I sorted your SBC bookshelf by average rating and chose the highest rating item for your buddy pick. Drum roll... Haunting Clarisse Series #1-3 by Janice Tremayne.

Now, I can see it has 406 pages and contains 3 books, but I think you're up for the challenge, good luck 😊

That’s actually perfect Tracey since we’re leaving for vacation on the 25th and I’ll read 5-8 books on the trip! Think it will be my travel book(s) to start me off!

Hi Jenny, glad you're joining us again and it's always a pleasure to choose your buddy pick. Perusing your bookshelf, I noticed that I have the same surname as the main character in one of your crime series, so I've chosen Dark Crimes by Michael Hambling. It also has a great average rating, so hope you enjoy 🤞

You're very welcome Jenny. I tried to use a new and different method for selecting yours and Sharon's books this month, and it worked! I love that this process makes us pick up books that have been languishing far too long on our TBR. Hope you enjoy yours, I'm hoping to finish my October buddy read tonight.

Well I gave it a good try, read the first 100 pages. Unfortunately it’s terribly written which is surprising, since the bio mentions that the author is award-winning. No need to pick another, I have a ton of reading to catch up on. I’ll post for the December buddy picks in a couple days.

Oh no, what a bummer! But at least it's off your list now! I'm half way through my buddy pick but (again) have had to put it aside in favour of a review copy I requested.
