Play Book Tag discussion

I'm really impressed by how creative the writers are. Even after reading lots of thrillers and mysteries, I didn't expect the story to unfold the way it did in this novel.

In the first half of the book, I was confused about whose perspective I was reading. But I actually liked this writing trick; it was done very cleverly. It was my first time encountering a story about people who can't recognize faces, which made the plot even more unique. There were some scary moments in the book, even though it's not a full-on horror story.

The surprises at the end were shocking initially and continued to surprise me for a couple more chapters. I'm still not sure how I feel about them now.

We seemed to have similar thoughts about this book!! It was like you want to love it but there was something about it that wasn't hitting the, "This is outstanding!" part of your brain.
