Kindle British Mystery Book Club discussion

I am passing on this one as I read “cozy” in a few reviews and that’s not a genre I enjoy

I haven't read the first book by the author so I can't compare the two. I enjoyed the book and liked the characters but if you were to ask me next month what the story was about, I might not be able to tell you. It just didn't make that impact but it is something I would probably recommend for a slow Sunday afternoon. I also gave it 3 stars.
Looking forward to our December read.

I will certainly try to read The Runaway Husband. Just finished Josephine Tey's To Love and Be Wise and started her mystery, The Man in the Queue. What a fine writer she is.
