Physical books though I’ve never tried a dedicated e-book reader like a Kindle. Why buy yet another electronic device that will become obsolete? Shelves filled with physical books also serve as comforting home decor. IKEA Billy bookshelves are cost effective and will never go out of style.
Depends. Physical copy preference is 100% Hardcover. However, I love audiobooks for when I’m running. Plus, certain book series have a great narrator I enjoy.
I prefer a hard copy but I also love my e reader for traveling. I’ve had the same one for years and severely mistreated it but it is still ticking. I try not to collect books so I try to get them from the library whenever possible. I only buy them if I think they are so good I would loan them out to someone.
I prefer hardcopy. That's what I use most of the time. I'm a big library user. I want to switch to electronic, because I think the Kindle devices look cool. But there has been nothing pushing me to do so.
I decided to build a physical book collection earlier this year. There is just something about possessing, tagging, highlighting and writing in books.
I consume more books by using the Libby app and listening to audiobooks. I almost always also have a hardcover book that I read before bed.
Physical book is probably my preferred, but I just bought a Kindle and it’s growing on me. Audiobooks for working out and in car. Like to get most from the library.
I went to all e-books or audiobooks about 12 years ago and have never looked back. I find e-books easier to read than hardcovers (thank you variable font size) and easier to transport and store for future reference. I generally read e-books for fiction, and audiobooks for business and non-fiction, although I do occasionally buy both if I want to take a bunch of notes.
I prefer e-books. I tend to borrow e-books from my local library - huge e-book catalog! Much larger than the physical book catalog. And traveling with hundreds of books on my Kindle means I can switch books as the mood strikes me.
